THE REFUGEES, ILLEGALS, ROBOTS, ETC…ARE ABOUT TO TAKE OVER ALL OF OUR JOBS. FAST FOOD PLACES ARE NOW SWITCHING TO ROBOTS AS WELL. AS FOR ME, I AM STILL HOPING TO RAISE MY STATUS FROM BEGGAR TO PROFESSIONAL SLAVE. THINGS ARE EXTREMELY BAD IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA. IF YOU KNOW OF ANY PSYCHIATRIST WHO WANT TO CONDUCT ANY ADVANCED RESEARCH IN MENTAL ILLNESS, THIS IS THE PLACE THEY WOULD WANT TO BE, THIS PLACE IS A PSYCHIATRIST DREAM FOR RESEARCH. WE COULD USE YOU HERE TO PLACE SOME AGENCIES ON THE RIGHT PATH. SPREAD THE WORD IN NEW ZEALAND, THIS IS THE PLACE PSYCHIATRISTS WANT TO BE.
Sounds pretty awful, futuret. Unfortunately the only psychiatrists I know who do research are getting paid by drug companies. This tends to skew all their results in favor of the drugs they are pushing.
BEFORE EVERYTHING BLOWS UP, I HOPE I AM IN FLORIDA AND HAVE CROSSED THE GEORGIA STATE LINES. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT MY PLACE. WE HAVE EVERY KNOWN KIND OF DISCRIMINATION, BASED ON RACE, AGE, LIFE STYLE, YOU NAME IT WE HAVE IT. THERE ARE NUMEROUS SILENT WARS HERE. LOVE YA DR. BRAMHALL AND STAY YOURSELF!!!
I am not surprised. This has been going on for decades and so the numbers match up with the years. And yet they say they need immigrants to take the jobs in IT because there are no qualified American born candidates. What? Did none of these college graduates take courses in IT? Or are our college degrees worthless? My bet would be that our college degrees are worthless and yet, we still have to pay back loans with interest for a worthless piece of paper.
You raise an important point, Shelby. It’s my understanding that Silicon Valley recruits Asian IT workers because they will accept pay that is 1/3 to 1/2 of what US graduates demands.
Well, I certainly cannot blame US graduates when they demand a certain salary especially seeing as how we have to pay for our own higher education while many who have come here from foreign shores have had their education paid for. How can we afford to live and pay on student loans that are sometimes damn near a hundred thousand dollars, if not more?
And yet, everyone wants to pretend that Americans are just too lazy and uneducated when we hear of companies hiring foreigners over us and they are doing so not because we are lazy and uneducated but because they can pay a lower wage to foreigners. And then people have the nerve to wonder why there is such a negative view of foreign workers here. This would be one good reason why!
What a waste of human talent!
While the for-profit colleges continue to skim the productive years of their former indebted clients, all is well with our system of higher education.
I guess all you can hope, Rosaliene, is that parents and high school guidance counselors are giving teenagers the right advice – most importantly to stay out of debt and to pursue apprenticeships and short term certificates that will place them directly into jobs. Meanwhile society as a whole has to accept that we can’t provide jobs for everyone and work to establish an unconditional basic income to keep people from starving and freezing on the streets.
