Hah, the UN – what a sick joke. What are they doing about Turkish aggression against the Kurds in northern Syria? What are they doing about Israeli genocide against Palestinians? Peace is the only answer, of course, though I cannot imagine where that would come from. One way would be, not peaceful cooperation between nations, but an end to the concept of nations. One earth, one people, share… or die.

I totally realize what you are saying, Nomad but I also know from many decades of observation, pondering and experimenting with different energies that it is never one or the other. Revolutions are one or the other. The result is that “one” replaces “other” and becomes “one.” Collectively people are programmed to support, enable, even worship those who hold power over them. I can’t go into the history of this programming here – I have on my own blog – but it’s there for all to see. Only by programming could individuals like Bush or Trump ever accede to presidential positions in the States. We all know it makes no sense but we blame “terrorists” or “the Russians” instead of looking where the problem lies. When I speak of no nations I am saying that Earthians are one species on one world and anything artificially set up to separate is meant to create disunity, chaos, slavery and bloodshed. If – never going to happen – we should decide to ignore national boundaries; different skin tones, races, genders and whatever else is used to make us kill each other, then we could change everything. But not by dismantling the MIC (or Religion or Government) forcefully. If you do not change and deprogram yourself as an individual; if you do not become self empowered, nothing can ever change. The programming will always rise to the fore in any collective behaviour. Get rid of God, Government, Gold and they will reappear under different guises just as powerful as ever. History does repeat itself and it wasn’t that long ago that Russia went through a massive blood letting to “free” itself from the Tsars. Where are they now?

Sha’Tara, have you ever read The Mass Psychology of Fascism that Wilhelm Reich wrote in 1933? I think he was the first to describe the “programming” you mention. He blames it on authoritarian child rearing practices, and recommends specific ways activists and communities can deprogram themselves.
I think you’re both right – the only thing that will save the US now is to abandon their delusions of Empire. Either they do it voluntarily or they will be forced by growing economic powers that are replacing them on the world stage.

No, I have not read that particular work. On the other hand, I have attempted to absorb material on ponerology as explained by psychiatrist Andrzej Łobaczewski .
There have been many attempts to describe the problem of leadership by psychopaths, e.g., currently Trump, Netanyahu, Erdogan, Duterte, Kim Jong Un, Saudi king Salman and the ability they have to garner popular support for a short time.
The programming I refer to is of a source very few give credibility to, hence why it is so pervasive. Nothing is understood or believed about it so it remains free to run its nefarious course while those who should know better continue to run after chimeras. Suffice to say for the moment that it is not of Earthian provenance. The authoritarian child rearing I am so familiar with being born in Europe under “old school” parenting influenced heavily by militarism and Roman Catholicism, is not a source of the programming but another aspect of it. Man will not go to the source because, not surprising, the programming blocks any research into its own source.
Bluntly put if one believes man is a naturally evolved creature, or a divinely created creature, such a one will never be able to penetrate the block and discover what man’s real programming source is. Before I realized what was going on I had to reason that man was neither a natural species nor created by God. I had to figure out a third, much more logical and obvious possibility. Darwin and Moses lost out! Earthians are mind slaves of forces they know nothing about.
