Now that it’s legal to grow hemp in the United States, a man who’s spent the last decade developing hemp “hardwood” is building a $6 million factory to manufacture the product en masse. His patented product called “HempWood” is made out of compressed hemp pulp fibers, held together with a soy-based glue.
While that may sound like some newfangled version of particle board, it’s not.
It looks and feels like oak, but is actually 20 percent harder than the famous hardwood tree.

I recall reading that hemp plastic was originally used by Henry Ford when he was making his earlier cars which was then replaced by the petroleum based plastics.
Further evidence that prohibition was not about public safety but the elimination of competitors.to the oil oligarchs.
Legalese rules and statutes to create or protect monopolies spinned as “public safety/health”.
The faux “rule of law” professionals as enablers and protectors of oligarchical power.
What should “law” be about? Does the millions of legalese rules/statutes serve humanity or enable legalese BAR members to indulge their magic of legalese sophistry and fraud?

I totally agree, ebolainfo. The whole legal system police, courts, prisons is set up to protect the interests of private property. Before they drove our ancestors off the commons (in the 16th – 19th century), there was no need for police and prisons because everyone had access to land to support their basic needs.
