We could have (possibly) resolved this matter long ago IF people had given me the time. Instead I am just considered nothing more than a nut… a conspiracy nut.

Sadly I think people are very resistant to change because clinging to familiar routine is very essential to their ability to function. Trotsky said this nearly 100 years ago in The History of the Russian Revolution. Apparently it takes a critical mass of suffering people to make permanent change. We seem to be getting there very quickly.
