With the ‘fake news’ caper recently backfiring on the CIA and suddenly many people, previously devoted to the USA’s ‘fourth estate’, questioning what, if anything, can be believed in mainstream media when it comes to matters of intelligence… it seems an opportune time to examine the mythology generated by the American intelligence concerning Osama Bin Ladin.
According to this Guardian story from November, 2001:

No, I don’t think so. David Ray Griffin establishes quite clearly in Osama bin Laden Dead or Alive that all the video and audio recordings made after December 2001 were documented forgeries. It’s a great book – you really should have a look.
Also I think it’s healthy to be wary of using Wikipedia as a reliable source. It’s structure (allowing anyone to sign in and post articles and/or edit them) makes it extremely vulnerable to US intelligence infiltration.
