I suspect Denmark may be similar to New Zealand in its geographic profile. Here we still have roughly half our population living in smaller rural-provincial centers. This seems to provide a big boost to the organic/permaculture movement. When so many people have gardens and chickens in their own backyards, it seems much easier to transition to an organic lifestyle.
