Source: Filmingcops.com Former CIA contractor Steven Kelley says that the US now has a policy to not hire potential police officers if they show signs of empathy or logic. “There is a policy here in the United States that people of a relatively high IQ are not allowed to become police officers,” said former CIA contractor Steven Kelley in an interview with Press TV.
Evidently if an applicant shows signs of relatively high IQ — with excellent logical analytic abilities and a sense of compassion — that applicant will be weeded out of the hiring process.

My sense is that under our current government structure, policies such as this are determined by anything that favors the greed of the ruling elite. Thus it makes sense in a sick and perverted way that they would seek out psychopaths to enforce their sick and perverted agenda. What I’m trying to say is that it would be impossible to rely on non-psychopaths to do it.

Futuret, I think it’s important to remember that Congress always has the power to overturn any executive order. People are predicting the Republicans will control both the House and Senate after November. Any time an opposition party refuses to overturn a totalitarian executive order, they deserve as much blame as the president.

Yup. This explains it. In addition, non-thinking and non-empathic individuals are highly esteemed in workplaces and churches. Any “edge” to keep a system going – because nobody should ever rock the boat or upset the status quo, no matter how dysfunctional it is becoming.

Good point JoAnn. I think this is the main reason I was never able to keep a salaried job in hospitals and community mental health centers. The narcissists and sociopaths always wound up setting up little dictatorships for themselves.

There was a reverse discrimination lawsuit about this in the 1990s because the Conn. state police were not hiring people with IQs over something like 100 which resulted in less whites being hired. The black robed bureaucrats serving as judges said that reverse discrimination wasn’t prohibited by civil rights law at the trial and appellate levels and the “conservative” SCOTUS bureaucrats refused hear the appeal.
I don’t have the case handy, but I could find it if you are interested.

Good point, Rosaliene. I think African Americans noticed in the 50s and 60s. Sadly the rest of us didn’t recognize what was happening and failed to stand in solidarity with them. Now no one is safe from arbitrary police violence.

He has two degrees and is a nice guy. The NJ state police did not want him even though he scored a Bulls eye on all standard testing . He agrees that there are two distinct types of cops, the good guys and the violent ,dumb psychopathic bullies.

This is important history, jtremaine, thanks. I only had one client ever who was a cop – and he had to come in the back door so his fellow officers wouldn’t see him. He was also a really nice guy and believed the main role of the police was to do social work and help people in distress.
